ce-net apps · last updated 2026-10-11
This notice covers apps.ce-net.com and the apps you reach after signing in there, including Foreman (also at work.ce-net.com), the project rooms and the console. The public website ce-net.com has its own notice. Leif Rydenfalk runs these apps. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.
Signing in
- When you sign in we set one cookie. It holds a random code. We store only a hash of that code, with the device name your browser reports, how you signed in, and when the session started and was last used.
- A session lasts 30 days from the last time you used it. Signing out ends it on every machine that serves these apps.
- With GitHub we receive your GitHub account number and user name. With Google we receive your email address, and only if Google says it is verified. We use them once, to match you to a person already invited. We keep no GitHub or Google token.
- A wrong password records the network address and the time. Five wrong tries in 15 minutes lock that address out for a while.
What you send
- Messages, voice notes, pictures and files you send are stored on our machines, so you and the people and AI agents working on your project can read them.
- Pictures and films shared by link are kept in Cloudflare's R2 storage. A link works only for the days it was made for.
- Voice notes are turned into text by a speech service: Google's Gemini, or models reached through OpenRouter. Spoken replies come from a voice model on our own machine or from one reached through OpenRouter.
- AI agents read what you send so they can answer and do the work. Today these are Anthropic's Claude models.
Error reports
When a page breaks, it sends a short report to our own error tracker: the error, the page, your browser's name and the name you signed in with. It goes to no outside company. We keep at most the newest 200,000 reports.
Cookies and tracking
We set only the sign-in cookie. There are no ads, no analytics and no trackers. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which sees your network address when they load.
Where it is kept
On computers we run ourselves: one in Sweden and two in Shenzhen, China. Pages reach you through Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs.
Who can see it
Leif, the AI agents that run his work, and the people you share a project room with. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long, and your rights
Messages and files stay until you ask us to delete them. Write to [email protected] to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer within 30 days.
